Space pin-ups have been around since the pulp magazine era of the 1930s. You know what I mean: female astronauts on alien worlds, holding laser pistols to ward off attacking bug-eyed monsters. While there’s plenty of that kind of pin-up, there’s not too many of just space gals enjoying the view.
Will Murai is a senior illustrator working at Blizzard Entertainment. He’s created character looks for such popular games as Starcraft II, World of Warcraft, and for Magic: The Gathering and Legends of the Cryptids. He also does the occasional pin-up, like the one gracing this page which Will has titled “Moon”.
